Dilemma #1: “For all have
sinned, and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)
1. We are
imperfect by nature, and the bible describes that imperfection as sin.
2. Sin is the
root cause of mankind misery and suffering, and no one can be excluded.
Dilemma #2: “For the wages of
sin is death…” (Romans 6:23)
1. God is
righteous and He declared judgment for our sin – death.
2. We
encounter two kinds of death: physical death as one day we all will die, and
spiritual death as our spirits will be separated with the Creator eternally.
Good News
#1: “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8)
1. God knows
that we cannot save ourselves; instead He came and died on behalf of us.
2. He has
paid the penalty of our sin and we are offered a chance to reconcile with God.
Good News
#2: “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in
your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9)
Now you can
receive forgiveness of your sin and receive eternal life by simple prayer:
“Dear Almighty God, I confess that I am a
sinner, and I wish to repent from my old ways. I believe that you have sent
Jesus Christ to die for me on the cross for my sin. I now acknowledge that
Jesus is my Lord to take away the penalty of my sin. I invite him into my heart
to reign in my heart. In Jesus’ name I pray.”
